Harvard Extension School reserves the right to make changes at any time to any of the information on this website. Any such changes will be limited to those which, in Extension's sole judgment, are deemed to be necessary and appropriate. Every effort will be made to inform students of these changes. Information about course changes will be mailed with students' registration confirmations.

Cancellations. Extension School classes are rarely canceled because of inclement weather. Students who commute a long distance to Cambridge are advised to use their own judgment as to whether travel may be difficult or unsafe. In the rare instance when classes must be canceled because of weather conditions, there will be a message on the Home page, as well as on the Harvard University News Line, (617) 496-6397 (NEWS), and on the Extension School general information line, (617) 495-4024. Announcements also will be broadcast on local radio stations WRKO-AM (680), WBZ-AM (1030), WCRB-FM (102.5), and WBUR-FM (90.9); and local television stations WBZ (channel 4), WCVB (channel 5), and WHDH (channel 7) on the day of the cancellation. Whenever possible, missed classes will be made up during the final examination period at the end of each term.
