Cancellations |
||
|
Extension School classes are rarely cancelled because of inclement weather. Students who commute a long distance to Cambridge are advised to use their own judgment as to whether travel may be difficult or unsafe. In the rare instance when classes must be cancelled because of weather conditions, there will be a message on the Extension School Home page, the Harvard University News Line, (617) 496-6397 (NEWS), as well as on the Extension School general information line, (617) 495-4024. Announcements also will be broadcast on local radio stations WRKO-AM (680), WBZ-AM (1030), WCRB-FM (102.5), and WBUR-FM (90.9); and local television stations WBZ (channel 4), WCVB (channel 5), and WHDH (channel 7) on the day of the cancellation. Whenever possible, missed classes will be made up during the final examination period at the end of each term. |
